About Society Excursions
This year Committee Members will again be acting as Excursion leaders, enquiries regarding an excursion should be directed to the appropriate Leader.
The following arrangements should be noted regarding excursions:
- The reply slips included should be placed in the box available in the Abergele Library during the SEVEN days prior to and including the closing date.
- The closing day is always the Thursday of the week prior to the excursion.
- The box will be removed when the Excursion is fully booked, and a Reserve list will be prepared. Members whose names are on the Reserve list will be notified if a vacancy occurs. It is always worth checking with an Excursion Leader if there are vacant seats.
- The box in the Library is for the convenience of members and slips must not be handed to members of the Library staff.
- Reply slips can only be accepted for one excursion at a time – it is not possible to book seats for the whole season en bloc.
- In view of the high cost of hiring coaches, members who book seats for an excursion and do not attend may be asked to pay the coach fare.
- Envelopes containing reply slips should be endorsed "Abergele Field Club".
- Seats on the coach will not be reserved unless Reply Slips are returned by the date stated.
- All Excursions depart from Tesco’s Abergele; coaches will be there 15 minutes before Departure Time.
- Any car left in the Tesco carpark must have its number registered with the Excursion Leader.
